The island of Katismaa offers a beautiful setting for a leisurely summer day. The island has a shallow beach, volleyball court, summer theatre, cafeteria, grill hut, campfire site, as well as saunas and several slides for children. During the winter, swimmers can dip into a well-lit ice hole. The pier is covered with a heated carpet.
